Face Off for Mental Health

November 1, 2021 @ 8:00 am - November 30, 2021 @ 5:00 pm

Face Off for Mental Health (FOFMH) is an exciting partership with local hockey teams and associations to increase awareness around mental health and promote a spirit of wellness around the game.  Players are provided with information about mental wellness and local resources.  Coaches and bench staff participate in a mental health education session where they learn about supporting their athlete’s emotional well being and undertanding local resources.

St. Clair Child & Youth Services is pleased to partner with local hockey associations to raise the profile of mental health issues for children and youth.  Current partners include:  Point Edward Minor Hockey Association, Sarnia Hockey Association, Lambton Sting Jr. AAA Hockey Club, Petrolia Minor Hockey Association, Lambton Attack Girls Hockey, Mooretown Minor Hockey Association, Lambton Shores Minor Hockey Association, East Lambton Minor Hockey Association, Sarnia Girls Hockey, and the Sarnia Legionnaires.

Is your hockey association interested in participating in the campaign?  Contact Craig McKenzie, mckecra@stclairchild.ca

No One Stands Alone is pleased to support this cause by providing 2500 of our mental health booklets for every skater and hockey player that wants one in Chatham-Kent and Lambton Counties.
